We originally had our entire house fitted with shutters, curtains and blinds by Regency Knights less than four years ago and were very happy with the service and products. About 12 months ago one blind motor failed (out of warranty), and was replaced with a new motor supplied by the manufacturer - service and installation again excellent. Now a second blind motor has failed, and the manufacturer (no longer used by Regency Knights, unsurprisingly) has stated that they will no longer support or supply a replacement for that motor, as they have produced a new model. We, and Regency Knights, were placed in the very difficult position of having to entirely replace a blind with new fabric ("old" fabric also discontinued) and a different motor. This significantly increased the replacement cost, with the complication of trying to find a fabric that matched, or at least blended with, the existing. Martin went to a great deal of trouble over this, and we reached a compromise over the supply and cost of a replacement motorised blind. This has now been installed and we are as happy as we can reasonably be under the circumstances. Once again the service on installation was excellent.
