My issue is not with the Re-imaging software - which seems fine. Nor is it with the Technical Agent that fixed problems identified by the scan of my laptop. Nor is it with the sales agent that ran the scan - she was just doing her job. My issue is with the company practice of upselling. Yes I had an issue that may have been significant (namely a Trojan) and yes I had multiple other issues that may have been significant. However, I left the phone call and the transaction feeling that I had been duped into buying services without doing what I would normally do - in this case researching whether the Trojan that was present on my laptop was an issue and how significant an issue it was. Call it pressure selling or me being stupid, but there is no place for this type of activity. That said the software and (I guess) the services seem to have improved the performance of my laptop and I also guess that I have peace of mind that the Trojan has gone. I recommend that future potential customers bear in mind that the relatively low price of the software subscription could well turn into a much higher invoice after the upselling activity has been completed (which is what happened to me).
