At first I wasn't happy with the way that the blanket rearranged itself inside the cover and ended up being quite uncomfortable overnight. So I took it out of the cover and, lo and behold, it started to do what it was meant to do. I bought some top sheets and now use it over one of those. I took it off the bed in May as I was starting to overheat - I guess I'll put it back on once the cold weather starts again. I washed it in the machine as directed and there was no problem - it dried quickly too.
