Overall: The Cottage was a unique combination of old world charm with modern conveniences. The village of Melmerby is quiet, well located for day trips with an outstanding pub and bakery. Enjoyed Most: It was comfortable, and well located. Enjoyed Least: No complaints. Surrounding Area: The townspeople that we met at the local pub were friendly and very helpful.
