Overall: We loved this house. We thought it was the best vacation home we had ever rented. It had plenty of both indoor and outdoor space, so we could spread out and relax. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed. There were many outdoor eating areas, and we enjoyed the variety. We felt secure being behind double gates and had completely private, too. We were there with our adult children, and it was nice having a private suite off the main house where we could enjoy some privacy. Enjoyed Most: The cabana area beside the pool. Enjoyed Least: The orientation of the house such that the outdoor areas are ablaze with sun in the afternoon. We only used these areas in the mornings and evenings because of this. Also, we found the beds a bit firm. Surrounding Area: Very good grocery store in Chateaurenard, with everything we needed. Also a nice bakery. Nearby Events or Locales: Chateaurenard--no, it is too far to walk. Tips or Restaurants: This house has everything you need, even pool towels.We didn't go to restaurants nearby; only when we were out on day trips. Directions: We got to the property by GPS, but we couldn't identify it as there were no numbers on the gate. Someone out on the street told us that was the place. Check In Out: Our voucher indicated that we should call Yvonne prior to arrival, but we couldn't get through to her. Not sure if our phones weren't working or if she didn't answer.
