I did the free scan and was then told that I would have to pay a fee to finish the repair. I decided that I wanted to pay the fee of $27.95 to repair my laptop.
My first red flag was that the receipt stated that it would be a recurring charge as a subscription. This is not what it initially said. In fact, it was clear that it was a one time charge. I went ahead anyway, thinking I could just cancel the subscription.
Then I received a message saying I would have to call them to proceed. I did.
The woman I talked to seemed as though she was doing all the right things to walk me through the scan. UNTIL THE PITCH. Then she informed me the only way I could get my repair is if I paid around $200 or more and let them work on it for 2 hours.
I said no, that I just wanted what I paid for (and I was very polite). She was extremely rude and hung up on me. It was very puzzling.
I called to cancel the recurring charge, and again, extremely rude and hung up on me then called me right back two times in a row. So strange!
I ended up calling and asking for a refund.
Of course, the person hung up on me again. This was the worst customer service I have ever had.
To bad too, because I would have liked a service that worked!
If I could give it ZERO stars I would.
