I had been having blue screens of death for several months now. A friend diagnosed it as "old hard drive" and set me up with a new solid state drive and a "cloning cable." But the blue screens continued with the new drive. Googling brought up Restoro. Desperate, I blew the $43 and downloaded it. Very surprised to learn I had to speak to a human to finish the installation. Wow, you discovered 21,000 events in my control panel administration file. I never knew about this file. I was angry at being up-saled another $100 for a personal, manual, intervention. Your technical staff spent about half an hour zinging my cursor pointer all over the place, deleting programs and reinstalling them. As an attorney, if I spent half an hour with a client and listened to their problem, I would charge twice as much and do half as much. I was impressed by your effort and despite my initial bluster at the upsale, thought you did a great job for the price. ... Until this morning, when I suffered 2 b.s.o.d.'s this morning. 3 days without bsod's was fantastic. Should I ask you about this morning's snafus? 5 stars would have been my rating but for today's problems, which quickly resolved by the system shutting down and re-booting. John Greenwood
