Reverb has definitely changed over the years! Their “Customer Service” is a “talk-to-the-hand” joke! They want nothing to do with their buyers/sellers if they have an issue. They want everything automated and just want to sit back and collect the cash! In fact, they attempt to “protect” both buyer and seller in the event of a clearly one-sided issue. Example, I purchased two guitars from a “shifty” seller, “Jason’s Gear Jungle”, and for three+ days had zero contact from this seller. Contacted Reverb and was instantly refunded my money. Why? Their answer was, “buyer sold locally and was out of stock” Yeah right! The buyer imho didn’t monitor their listings and when the price dropped (15-20%), I bought two new guitars from them. I say this because a few days later, I checked and it was relisted and was “predicted to sell soon!” What a joke! I also mention this because “JASON’S GEAR JUNGLE” has 1600+ transactions with stellar feedback! Reverb has totally prevented me from leaving any type of feedback on this experience and I thought it was important for other buyer’s to be aware. As for Reverb itself? What a shame! I meet the two guys that started Reverb many years back at a Winter NAMM Show and they were really cool and genuinely wanted to make a great musicians selling and buying community, which they did for many years. That’s sadly all gone now imho, since they sold the company. So carpe Diem: “JASON’S GEAR JUNGLE” in Riverside, CA!!!
