I worked in Revolut for a several years.
What can I say: toxic environment and bad work-life balance all true. All features launched as MVP in a big rush, so you can expect some bugs.
Tops have no clue how to manage people. What they are worried about - only company valuation. So employees just a resources which should be squeezed out. In the end when you decide to quit they will try to stop you if you are good performer. They will promise a lot (especially changes in there mindset, but this will never happen), so it is up to you to decide.
I feel the same way they think about customers - just a resources.
I used Revolut as a customer as well, so far no problem. But I don’t used any fintech features really. Just received salary and usual spending. For other stuff I am using another apps, not a fan to keep everything in one basket.
Also considering to open just usual bank account, maybe will keep Revolut for small spendings.
For traveling it is a great account, but now, I believe, you can find something else with better currency rate.
