Tried to open an account for currency exchange with going on holiday. The account was immediately deactivated. Trying to contact someone to find out what went wrong is a nightmare. They refer you to the live chat, which if like me the account is deactivate is impossible to do. Numerous emails later I got into live chat through the business section by saying I had forgotten password. They would not say why the account was deactivated and terminated the chat before I had finished. Customer service is appalling and without telephone contact helplines this Bank is not fit for purpose in my opinion. They said initially that it was a systems problem and then someone else said it was a KYC issue. Do they know what they are doing?
