I have used Rias house and contents insurance for over 20 years, but unfortunately the quote for 2014/15 was not at all competitive so I moved to the insurance provided by my bank. Fortunately the quote for 2015/16 was back to the normal amount I pay for House and Contents insurance, so I was happy to return to the company I have liked and trusted for so many years. I wonder why the previous years quote was so over the top, I phoned up and was told that there was no way to reduce it, but it came down again this year - why.
