Having used Richer Sounds before and been very happy with my purchases and the service, it was my “go to” audio store.
I telephoned today to find out about a set of noise cancelling headphones that I could use on an aircraft. Preferably blue tooth but they would also need a cable and a standard 3.5 plug to 2 pin airline plug adaptor. The assistant I spoke to really did not know what I was talking about, and just said “no, we don’t do anything like that here” and that was the end of our conversation.
I have since found out that aircraft plug adaptors are readily available on the High Street for about £5.
Is it really true that I can not purchase a pair of noise cancelling headphones with a standard plug jack from an audio specialist like Richer Sounds? I know I will be able to purchase these headphones from John Lewis which I will do this afternoon.
