A pair of supposedly high-quality shoes manufactured by Rieker and that I purchased while on a visit to Germany, resulted in the top part of the shoes to peel off after a handful of uses and in just under 6 weeks from purchase. Rieker is refusing to address the issue or extend any support and is absolving itself entirely from any responsibility, on the basis that I have not purchased the shoes online directly from them!!! Despite informing them that retailing partner concerned is not being responsive, Rieker's shameless reply: "We definitely have no means of dealing with end customer complaints!!" SHOCKINGLY POOR QUALITY OF PRODUCT & EQUALLY ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
