Ordered a Weber thermometer as a present. When it arrived the only protection was the Weber box itself. The address Label was stuck on the box over the instructions and the flimsy box was badly squashed and damaged part of which had been fixed by someone with sellotape. Their warehouse presumably. The packaging therefore looked awful although thankfully the recipient of the present laughed
Reported to Riverside explaining it was a present. They asked for photos which I provided and they apologised and advised they would investigate further. They came back again apologising asking if I wanted a replacement or refund. If they had read my initial email properly they would have seen that I had already given it as a present. Either the apology was an automated response or their representative was in auto reply mode
