A recent message from Robinsons Singapore, COO Tom's message, about a non-refundable product I recently bought is incredibly misleading. His statement of "a 30-day return* on ALL our products" sets a false expectation of easy returns and discourages careful reading of product details.
Frankly, this experience, especially the non-refundable nature of the item, makes his talk of the "finest shopping experience" ring hollow. It feels like key information was deliberately hidden to push the sale. To make things worst, I discovered the same product, from the same Hong Kong distributor, being sold for much less. This raises serious questions about Robinsons' markups. My message here is I felt for this kind of marketing scheme, and hope we all be careful in comparing prices and sources before buying!
I certainly don't agree with the COO’s "finest shopping experience" claim; I feel I was tricked into this purchase.
