I want to share my bad experience with consumers. I am a regular customer of Rona in Brampton. 15th of August I purchased a patio set. Set was on sale and I could not believe the price. I asked the associate Mr. M if the price is right. Mr. M oh yes that is the price for complete set but umbrella is not in this price. I asked him please check if the price is right. He called his manager Mr. S and manager gave him approval by saying, yes it is a set. I purchased it and agreed to pick next day. Next day I went to pick it, I could fit only chairs in my van so I left and told them that I will come back for table. Here the fun starts. I went to pick the table and I was told that I have to pay for the table that price was only for chairs. My fault I did not check the bill and they made for chairs only. I had small argument with seasonal manager but he was firm but he gave me a choice for the table. I told him this employee sold me this and manger so and so approved it. But HE stood firm on his decision. I left thinking next day that employee will be there and he knows every thing. Next day morning all kind of excuses I got for this manager Mr. S, not in his office, coming at 9 and he is gone to India. When I asked for employee Mr. M, wow he lied by saying he sold what I asked for. I had only one option and that was to buy the table. Now suddenly table price was not what I was offered by seasonal manager Adrian. I asked them to call him and he stood by his decision and table was sold on the price I was offered by him. Adrian I would like to thank you for not changing. You are the only person there with balls. Being humble and little polite can solve any situation. We all do mistakes but an apology can make us leave without bitterness. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE
