i ordered 2 deck boxes and after 8 days they had not even shipped yet. when i looked into it Purolator had put in their system that a label had been created but 5 days later they still had not been picked up in Ontario to come to BC. Person on the phone had no idea what to do so i insisted on a refund and was told it would take 10 to 14 days to process. this is the last time i will deal with Rona as they need to get there act together or get out of the online service. Bought from Costco it is much easier.

Rona sells a composted cow manure product called valu+. Most bags contain a lot of weed seeds. Some of the bags contain weed killer that the cows have eaten, passes through them and is not removed by composting. Kills your vegatable garden for 3 to 5 years. This product is horrible and should not be sold by Rona. It is not up to Rona standards.

I placed an online order in Canada, for ~$2500 patio set. Transaction was fine, the email verified that I ordered correctly (colour was black for both the table/chairs set and the umbrella stand). Unfortunately when the umbrella stand was shipped late, from the U.S., it arrived in a stark gold colour. Long story short, after several back-and-forth emails and escalation, the response was that the "manufacturer confirmed that what I received it what I ordered." Even though I showed my Order Confirmation email, showing BLACK as the ordered colour, they insisted it was my error (which led me to believe that there was something wrong in their back-end system with partnumbers etc.) - clearly showing that the customer-facing information (website and email confirmation) was different. They said I could get a refund as long as I packaged and shipped the umbrella stand back to them, and then placed another order. WHAT A POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! Oh, they did offer a 10% back ($15) if I kept it... You be the judge, all I know is that's the last dollar I ever spend with Rona, there are a few alternative options close to me, and they will have my, and my company's, future business...

The Vernon Rona has had an ongoing issue with the store being intolerably warm in the summer months, I have asked many staff members and am repeatedly told that unfortunately Rona seems unable to fix , my visits are short for this reason as well as many other shoppers ,as I have heard many complaints. For a comfortable shopping experience I think a lot of us may be going elsewhere :(

From start to finish this has been my worst online experiences ever. From false information to undelivered promises. I received a defective charger and possibly batteries that show zero life when pressing the charge display. Defects happen so I ordered a replacement. Lucky my second one has the exact same issue. Oddly the second one sat in a store for two days before being shipped. I had to call and ask why and make sure it got picked up. Wow. Anyway now I have two dead kits. Both manufacturered in 2021. I’m guessing after 5 years batteries go flat. Im sure if I ordered another one I’d expect to have the same problem. I’ll never buy Black and Decker again. If they break in the box. I can’t see how theywould stand up to basic use. Very disappointing on all fronts.

I ordered a gazebo at the beginning of March online because there was no way for me to pick one up. They are approximately 400 pounds. 2 months later no gazebo and I finally got my refund. The trucking company passed it off to another one. Then the second company (which owns smaller trucks) said they won’t deliver due to weight constrictions. Rona said for my troubles they would send a 100$ gift card I have yet to see and that was 3 weeks ago. It’s not their fault the trucking company wouldn’t deliver out of town but they should be aware how their systems work if you’re going to sell something. I tried to shop Canadian.

Despite waiting 25 minutes and having staff paged twice, no one ever appeared to help me find what I needed. Talked to 2 staff at the front who were clueless. Way not to go!

Having been a loyal customer of Rona and a VIP contractor for decades .... I made the mistake of trusting their on line ordering process! What a complete and total failure ... I only wish I had taken the time to check Google reviews (average of only 2 stars).. I could have saved myself the "pain" of their negligence and failures! One of absolutely worst shipping and delivery processes in the industry!!!! I suggest you avoid Rona online shopping as if it had an infectious disease..... I will never order again on line from Rona and after over 20 years .. I am seriously considering never buying from their retail store ever again .. there are better managed retail home supply stores to chose from!

Purchased stain for my deck. Color was supposed to be a natural brown. When it was mixed it looked mustard yellow.staff advised me that once it was on pressure treated wood it would be the correct color. It was not. It appeared mustard yellow. Brought the stain back to have it exchanged as the colour was not as promised. When I requested the exchange the manager that I dealt with was quite rude. She did agree to make the exchange but preceeded that decision with many negative comments. She advised me in future I should have asked for a manager before leaving the store with the color I had to question. That way we would not have to deal with. He said she said comments. There was no question as to what the staff told me. Staff in the department seems to be very poorly trained. Should not have to ask for a manager to verify something that a staff member told me.

J’ai commandé une toilette intelligente de Rona.ca. Je n’ai jamais reçu l’article à cause du transporteur. En effet Purolator ne trouve plus ce colis. J’ai donc annulé ma commande. Pourtant, Rona refuse de me rembourser tant et aussi longtemps que le transporteur n’a pas retourné le colis au fournisseur. Rona me fait porter la responsabilité d’un transporteur délinquant! Je vous recommande fortement d’éviter ces deux compagnie!

I’ve been to rona numerous times and today is my last!!!!!!! It seems like every time you go in there they are out of stock or have minimal stock on hand. I was in irrigation supplies today with 3 other people who were looking for fittings, and none of us got anything because the shelves were empty or one here or one there. Went to Home Depot and the shelves were full of everything you needed. I don’t want to hear that you have supplier issues when Home Depot is fully stocked. Rona needs to discuss the inventory issues with the manager of Signal Hill Rona. This store is a total disgrace!!!!!!

Ordered an online exclusive bbq grill which came in as a client return put back in the box in all its original shape. We noticed half way through putting together the grill. Added the grill and cover temporarily before requesting a refund return. But bbq grill cover was stuck due to misaligned parts and Rina refused to pick it up. No car no extra hands to haul this 80lbs piece of junk still refuse to pick up but sent a Purolator label!!! Charge back yesterday after 3 weeks of fighting with awful customer Servicenow based in Algeria. Rona lost by business after 25 years as a client. Selling the banner was the nail in the coffin.

Went shopping for bathtub and shower base. The website gave a 3 day delivery window, with the remark it sometimes takes longer which can be understandable. Placed the order and it takes them a week to give you an estimate delivery date which is then more than 2 weeks from the order date. Called the callcenter and basically they said that is normal. Rona, at least be honest about your delivery dates, we would have waited but canceled my order.

Had the best experience at Rona in Waterdown yesterday. Warren helped us pick out the perfect gazebo and was so knowledgeable. Then Patrick helped find it in the warehouse and when I told him what I drove he was honest in that it wouldn’t quite fit. No problem he held it for us while the huz went and got his truck. They were both so amazing can’t say enough good things! I’d give 11 stars if I could.
