I purchased paint for a client I support. When I went back for more they mixed the color incorrectly. It took two months, many calls, escalations but the store manager Dale never called me back. Reached out to the head office. An employee/manager named Marisol asked me to come in to get my replacement can. She asked me to come at a specific time/day but when I got there I waited 25 min two pages she never came. She asked me to come again with no real ownership. I asked to be refunded but she wanted a receipt which was thrown out since it had been weeks since buying then after issue. This store East Guillumbury has very poor management and customer service. I will never buy anything there again! I suggest be caustious Cherubina R

I don't have option to give negative ratings to this company. It was our first time buying washer and dryer from Rona. When we placed the order from store they did not inform us that we have to uninstall old washer and dryer. Sales person told us that our installation team will take care of this. At the time of deliVery, they started blaming us that we have wasted their time and they cancelled the delivery from their end and left. After that called customer service they said it was in store purchase and we can't help you. You have to call the store. Again tried calling store, they said our manager will look into this and you to come to store as he can't take calls and there is no such email for that. That is literally pathetic service after spending $2200 with this store.

I recently bought all my kitchen appliances from Rona on 1945 Barton St Hamilton. When I went in I was so confused but I got amazing help from Deborah who was so patient with me and helped me decide. She is amazing, and so knowledgeable. Thank you Deborah ☺️

I ordered o. Line for pickup at the store, Mavis branch in Mississauga. The email said it is ready for pickup. I parked at the designated spot, I emailed I am here and also. Called the store. After 19 mins, they called me to wait and not sure for how lo g because the person to deliver is on break. Unbelievable customer service Never again Just had to order for curbside pickup as I am a Senior and more difficult for me to carry the stones. Will not recommend.

very happy today as Rona @(Barton st.)employees made the day work very well, Brono was very helpful in finding the right product and in loading to the rental truck that was made available at a very decent price in 15 min, other staff as well helped in very professional customer service were very friendly and dedicated to the job, questions asked were answered by all means , great job everyone you all deserve these words from a customer and hope the owners appreciate it as well, thank you all.

Ordered gazebo on April 27th. Was charged 2200$. Was suppose to be delivered on May 2nd. We paid and scheduled installation for May 8th. We started to follow up with Rona on May 5th. We called Rona, emailed them, called delivery company every single day. All the time they promise someone will call us . Today is May14th. We still don’t have gazebo, nobody called us to follow up and they have no idea when it’s going to be delivered . After 3 weeks of waiting we decided ti cancel the order , since it’s not coming anytime soon of ever . Called customer service , was advised the order is canceled and we will receive a confirmation email within 3 hours . No email recieved , order hasn’t been canceled . Charges us 2200$, haven’t delivered the product and now we have to call them and email over and over again to cancel the order. Please save yourself time and don’t order from them .

I purchased a metal carport on line to be delivered to my cottage. I took time off work to be there per the delivery date. The item did not arrive. When I called, I was told someone should have called me to schedule a delivery. Because they don't deliver to the area on weekends, I drove my wife on a weekday to be there for the delivery. 5 hours of driving. The delivery didn't fit on the truck. The following day the truck broke down. I had to plead with the delivery company to deliver on the upcoming Saturday. Now I've opened the boxes and found that they shipped an incorrect box after I've taken time off to assemble the carport. Another waste of my time. Now I wait for customer service to send me an email so I can tell them what's missing. How long will I have to wait for the correct parts? It doesn't seem like the customer is a priority at all to this company.

I live in Barrie ON and I worked with an amazing lady named Kruti to purchase new kitchen cupboards. Kruti provided excellent service at all points of the purchase, design, delivery and installation. Joe installed the cupboards and he also was an excellent person to work with. I’m now a loyal Rona customer because of my experience with Kruti and Joe., L. Hewer

I was treated very poorly when trying to purchase a washer/dryer set. On May 1, 2025 I purchased a new washer/dryer set for $2,413.75 at the Martin Grove Rona store. Delivery was set for May 7. At the time of purchase, I was advised I was responsible for disconnecting the old washer and dryer, which I did on May 6. The appliances were not delivered on May 7. I waited a few hours, but hearing nothing I decided to call the store. I had to call the store three times, starting at 11:30 a.m., on May 7 before anyone could give me any information. What I was told did not explain anything. I was advised the dryer was "no longer available", although it had been available on the day I purchased the appliances. It was not explained to me how it had happened that the appliance I had purchased had been removed from my order. It was not explained why no one from the store contacted me in advance to let me know that the appliance was no longer available, so that i could avoid disconnecting my current appliances and also avoid disrupting my household in order to create a clear path for the delivery people. As a "solution" I was told i could have another appliance from the floor, but I would have to pick it up and take it home myself. That struck me as an insult, not an attempt to make things right. My best advice is to shop elsewhere for appliances.

Terrible customer service. Have tried to buy two sheds. One in which I paid for, waited 40 mins for it to be loaded...just for me to go in and see they couldn't find it. Trying to buy another one now, was told it was there and ready for me to come buy....I phone before I drive from out of town for them to tell me I will receive a call back as they don't see it. So for a hr later. No call back and now I can't get through to them. Rona plus has definitely let me down.

Bought over $500.00 of drainage supplies, at several different times, didn’t need approximately $150.00 of it, had one of my bills, they refunded $110.00 for 2 items, third item $40.00 I couldn’t find the bill, (product code shows they sell the item) they wouldn’t take it back, saw store manager (very pleasant) for over 1 hr, Sorry no bill, no refund. I’am trying to support Canadian stores, back to Home Depot with a no hassle return policy! Rick Ducholke

My experience with Rona Plus in Regina was absolutely fantastic! I had the pleasure of working with Anil, who helped me design my kitchen—not just once, but multiple times—as I kept changing my mind throughout the process. His patience, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. Anil never made me feel rushed or like a burden; instead, he took the time to understand my vision and made thoughtful suggestions to bring it to life. The end result was fabulous, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Anil and the Rona Plus team for anyone looking to create their dream kitchen!

After waiting for another replacement door for 2 months, we were sent another closet door in a different packaging. When our contractor opened the package and tried to install the new door he found out that the door is 79” and not 80” which is what we ordered. Now the contractor has to install a piece of plywood at the bottom to raise the door and hopefully it will work but not sure. Very frustrated with this whole order. It seems there is no end to the problems we have been put through, no end at all. I’m very disappointed with Rinas service and products.

Absolutely disappointing - Rona by the way is owned by a USA Company (Sycamore Partners). We were in the Whitby store in Ontario CDN - no staff in the flooring dept. so we walked away and went to the paint dept. again waited approx 10 minutes and still no staff! Shop CDN - Canadian Tire or Home Hardware!!!

Yesterday, upon seeing an ad for cedar hedge fertilizer on sale we went to the East Gwillimbury store to pick some up. Apparently they had 199 in stock. There is no one to help you in the store. The store was completely empty of customers and also anyone who worked there. We couldn’t find aisle 51 - which is not marked. We found an associate after searching the store, who told us that yes, there are 199 in stock. But couldn’t tell us where they were “somewhere outside” was his answer. I can call an associate for you - never came. I ordered it online and had to pay a delivery fee because everyone was too lazy to help. This is the exact reason why I didn’t shop at Lowe’s and will not be going back to Rona. Useless.

Still waiting on an item for delivery. I was told the item was shipped and the item would be received the next day. But, only a shipping label was created. After 8 days, the carrier still has not picked up the item. Very deceiving!

Had a prepaid credit card valid for online orders. Don’t have stock in my area so chose closest Rona with stock (40 min away) ordered items paid items online with credit card. Got a phone call saying the part I ordered wasn’t in stock so they substituted. Upon pickup was wrong again. Went in to exchange they refunded my prepaid credit card and told me it’s going to take 48hrs to see that refund so I couldn’t pay for the new ones for 48 hours. Glad I drove 40 min to get jerked around
