Ordered a toilet which was the wrong one, immediately tried to cancel, and called the next morning and they confirmed my order was cancelled. A week later the toilet shows up at my house, and I refused the delivery, stating I want it sent back. Two months later they dont know where it is, and have not yet reversed the charge. I've been on the phone 4 times with the customer service in total, and I get the same run around story, that they're working on it. Unacceptable customer service. They're shipping is fast, but buyer beware, if you have a problem with a product and don't have a loca store, good luck, they won't be of any help.

Tillicum Mall location. Ima looking for Scroll saw blades , employee says oh you mean for a jigsaw, no I say it’s a scroll saw and he refers it to being an older jigsaw. I say no a scroll saw blades or different than jigsaw . He tells me he’s worked there for 3 yrs and never heard of that . Me : ok I’ll go to Canadian tire , gives me a dirty look and says good luck …..the girl in C Tire didn’t know what Scroll saw were but she found them . So yesterday I go to Rona , same location and I only because it close . I ask right away that I need to find an adapter for shop vacuums . Two employees look at me funny , seems they never heard of such a thing , so I just say oh can you just direct me to the vacuums, younger guy says we don’t sell vacuums. Omg I say shop vacs? Older says the only thing maybe you’ll find that kind of thing is in plumbing. Ima female , these employees were male and had no clue . I finally went and asked a different guy if he could look it up because I found it on the Rona website. He thankfully look it up and directed me to the shop vacs that had what I was looking for . I have to say , for me , no point in going to Rona even though it’s close because it appears most the employees have 0 knowledge ( not all of them ) on what is holding the store . Or like the first guy gets annoyed with me because as he said he’s worked there 3 1/2 years and never heard of a scroll saw blades ? Need to do better . Or at the very least , look it up if you don’t know , girl at Canadian Tire found it in under a minute. Wow !

Ordered a beautiful vanity online on Aug 21/25 which was delivered Aug 28/25. Today I saw the priced decreased by $650. Called customer service to inquire about price adjustment (product is just within the 90 day return window). Customer service rep said price adjustments can only occur within 30 days of purchase. When I said I would have to return the product, the rep first argued it would not be accepted because it must be unopened and unused. I stated the vanity is unopened and unused as it was purchased for a renovation that is still in progress. Rep then argued that it is past 90 days for return. I clarified there is still one day left in the 90 day window. She then suggested I go to my closest Rona store (although this was an “online only” purchase) to request “an exception”. This is clearly pointless. We still have many purchases left for our renovation including tile, lights, faucets, and appliances. Thanks to this experience, we won’t be buying anything further from Rona

My husband and I have bought all our renovation supplies from rona. I could not find anyone to help so I went to the sunridge location to buy a bathroom vanity and a part my husband needed. I stood at customer service for about 10 minutes while the lady ignored me . She walked over to self serve cashier and said she could help someone at customer service! I then went to the paint section to see is they could find a part for me , she told me to go to home depot . Well RONA , that is where we will be shopping from now on ! Terrible staff Terrible service

Worst service a la clientel In ste dorothee Even emplyees don’t know what’s goung on. Not helpful at all Lady at customer service is rude to everyone. I left the atore before even dealing with any because I was not ready to face rudeness

I tried to buy a dishwasher from the store and have it delivered and installed. I was informed you do not install or haul away at the store level. I must order online. The store will only deliver to the doorstep. I did so and had the delivery date changed three times without Rona informing me of any changes just that there was a delay and they were working on it. I had to phone and get the the new delivery times myself. The dishwasher was not delayed a few days. It was delayed many weeks and like I said with no information or reasons for the delay provided to me. Completely substandard customer service I will most likely not do business with Rona in the future.

Streamline Bath shower base - on line only cannot view before purchasing and Streamline wants a fee if the base is returned. Customer service non existent

I ordered 3 toilets and purchased their triple play install on all 3 over $1000. The day they were supposed to come they called and said the truck broke down so they would come the next day fair enough trucks break down. The next day so called Tech. Hardeep Bhiwani of Mak Appliances and Plumbing sub contracted by quickcontractors.com showed up with the 3 toilets said 1 toilet was dirty so he would only install 2. I said while you are installing the first 2 I will clean the 3rd. I cleaned the toilet but while I was doing it they snuck off with out doing anything. When I informed Rona of this they were surprised because they said they installed them. Rona did refund me the install fee but now I have 3 old toilets to be removed and 3 new ones stacked in my dining room to be installed. DO NOT USE RONA EVER. Not worth the hassle.

This store is by far the worst store I have been to! I've never left a review ever good or bad, but I'm so beyond frustrated with Leduc rona every single time we have had the unfortunate pleasure to shop at this location we, wait for help for 15 min no one shows then we have to hunt someone down to help and they treat us like we are a nuisance! We pay your salary! We are the reason your job exists! I am currently waiting for someone to get us a vanity from the back but no they are on break! The only reason I'm waiting is we need a vanity because we have family coming from out of town and need one! Im so angry I want to scream! It's supposed to be dun to get nice things for your bathroom but you Leduc Rona have sucked the fun out of this experience. Congratulations on the worst service I have ever had!

I purchased an entire deck package for delivery from Rona Crowfoot. It was sent out quickly, and we started doing posts, beams and joists right away. The lumber was less than perfect, but we were able to hide imperfections. We started installing deck boards this morning, and 6 hours later, not a single deck board is screwed down. The bowing is so severe and inconsistent that we've been unable to get more that three boards the same shape next to each other. Gaps range from 1/4 inch to 1 and 1/4 inches when laid down. I will be requesting replacement, but I've already wasted almost $300 in labour and have nothing to show for it. And now I have a crew here and nothing for them to do. After 40 years in the industry I've never seen such poor quality. To add to the issue, I'm concerned that anything Rona sends as replacement will be just as bad. I do not recommend.

I ordered a gazebo from Rona online. It was shipped in several packages via Purolator. Two packages arrived promptly but it’s been a week and I’m still waiting for the other three to arrive. Neither Rona nor Purolator seem to know where they are or when they will get here. I chose Rona over Costco or Amazon because it’s Canadian. What a disappointing experience. I’ll never use them again.

Rona Kingston on gardiners road. Web site shows many emerald cedars available but only one awfully weak looking one in store. Web site data base way off. Should be more reliable so customers are not put off shopping here.

Ordered an awning from their website and it arrived broken. Waited several weeks for customer service to assist before blasting an email to RONA's C-Suite. Was promised a refund of the installation charge and eventually got a replacement awning shipped to me. It got installed after the summer was over. Additionally, RONA retracted their promise of a refund after the installation due to the fact that I would not sign a document releasing my insurance company from taking any action against RONA related to the awning in perpetuity. This would impact any potential claim I make related to the awning and the installation. Absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced in many years. On top of that, I was lied to by an executive. Don't trust this company.

We were an installation contractor for Rona in RedDeer. We did an install job for under $500.00 in February 2025 and it’s now September still haven’t been paid. They get the payment from client up front. Did another install for approximately $8,700.00 in June and still haven’t received payment. If you contractors are looking to sign up with them find something else to do.

This is my second time ordering online from Rona and my package again is not arriving when they originally said is was going too. I think once my package has arrived I’m done with Rona and I’m gonna go back to Home Depot, it’s sad for me to say this because Rona is a Canadian store but the can not get it together.

Terrible experience with Rona. Ordered a kitchen faucet online. The order was missing parts. This was only discovered after we paid for a plumber to change the faucet. We paid for a plumber to do absolutely nothing because of Rona’s terrible quality control of not sending us all the parts. The return and refund was terribly mismanaged. We will never do business with Rona again.

Ordered an item online and was expecting it to be delivered to my residence. When the item was not delivered on the expected date I went through the tracking information and discovered it was held up due to the address being incorrect. I contacted the carrier (which I did not find helpful) and was told that RONA listed the street part of my address as a single digit; it is a 3 digit number and as a result the address printed does not even exist. The carrier informed me that I needed to contact RONA to have them correct it from their side of things. I queried whether or not they (the carrier) or RONA contacts the receiver in these situations and was told that they do not but could not speak on behalf of RONA. I called RONA customer support to inform them of the incorrect address and asked if they were aware: I was not surprised to hear that they weren't. I received a call back within an hourand informed that a correction would be sent right away to the carrier; this did not happen until several hours later. Now its 24 hours later and the carrier still has not processed the change in their system- per the carrier's agent it will take another 2 business days. So I wait....... I fully acknowledge that they are complexities with respect to the selling, shipping, and delivery of merchandise but what concerned me the most is that once the item was shipped, there was no communication between the vendor and the carrier to share that there was an issue or discuss what was needed to resolve it. If I hadn't done the legwork and made the necessary calls, the item would have sat for 5 days in the carrier's warehouse and then been sent back to RONA. I would be interested in someone explaining the reason why a customer had to deal with a problem?

Bad experience I would give it zero stars! Spent 2 hours sorting through wood (Horrible) Went to check out and the flyer said 15% off if you spent $100. They wouldn’t honour because they said lumber wasn’t included. You would only know this if you found and tried to read(such small print) at the end of the flyer. We will never shop at Rona again.
