I’ve been to rona numerous times and today is my last!!!!!!! It seems like every time you go in there they are out of stock or have minimal stock on hand. I was in irrigation supplies today with 3 other people who were looking for fittings, and none of us got anything because the shelves were empty or one here or one there. Went to Home Depot and the shelves were full of everything you needed. I don’t want to hear that you have supplier issues when Home Depot is fully stocked. Rona needs to discuss the inventory issues with the manager of Signal Hill Rona. This store is a total disgrace!!!!!!

Ordered an online exclusive bbq grill which came in as a client return put back in the box in all its original shape. We noticed half way through putting together the grill. Added the grill and cover temporarily before requesting a refund return. But bbq grill cover was stuck due to misaligned parts and Rina refused to pick it up. No car no extra hands to haul this 80lbs piece of junk still refuse to pick up but sent a Purolator label!!! Charge back yesterday after 3 weeks of fighting with awful customer Servicenow based in Algeria. Rona lost by business after 25 years as a client. Selling the banner was the nail in the coffin.

Went shopping for bathtub and shower base. The website gave a 3 day delivery window, with the remark it sometimes takes longer which can be understandable. Placed the order and it takes them a week to give you an estimate delivery date which is then more than 2 weeks from the order date. Called the callcenter and basically they said that is normal. Rona, at least be honest about your delivery dates, we would have waited but canceled my order.

Rona's customer service for online purchases is 100% staffed by a call centre in Tunisia. I recently had an expensive purchase messed up by one of Rona's vendors and while I understand that mistakes can happen, it was excruciatingly difficult to deal with Rona's customer service agents in Tunisia. If you have the option, choose to make your purchase somewhere else.

Ordered a double bathroom vanity for our bathroom renovation. Received with damage to engineered marble countertop. Went back and forth with customer service for a month. Was told on two different occasions someone would call me back that same day. Never received a call. Emails would go days in between, most times would not receive a response from them at all until I wrote them the 2nd time, or had to call myself. There customer service department does not want to help there customers AT ALL. Will NEVER shop at Rona AGAIN. Deeply disappionted in there poor customer service skills and response rates.

Customer service is absolutely horrendous. Called 8 times and was told they would get me the information I needed. Never ever got the information via email or phone. Asked for supervisor three times, never received the call back I was promised. I would give a zero star rating if possible. Do not purchase anything at Rona if you have any other options. They will never help you with warranty or any other issue. Will not shop again

I ordered a simple dolly. 2 wheels that's it. They packed it in a box when they knew there were missing pins for the wheels and only 1 washer. So of course I open the box, pull out the dolly and the wheels fall off. There's no way they could've packed it in the box without knowing that, but they did and shipped it off to me. Customer service was useless when I called and insisted on having pictures. For what, I dont know. I returned it online and got someone to take it back for me as I couldn't, which is why I wanted it delivered originally. I'll never shop there again. Plenty of other stores sell a dolly!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - ACTUALLY CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY HOME AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT - Story is we ordered washer and dryer - told instock and then one week later told we dont have that in stock - so change made and wait another week - then washer arrives and delivering company does not just leave appliance as we were told they would but detaches and water from the existing washer and breaks off connection and floods first floor and basement despite them distinctly informing us they would not install the new appliance - water shut off after 10 minutes and considerable damage to home - they then left dryer out in hallway as gas was not disconnected - called emergency plumber who came to first pipe and had that charge to pay for - then wrote company to explain issue and they said they would forward it to insurer who basically said it was not their responsibility and would not assist in paying anything that it must have been preexisting despite never having an issue. Terrible customer service and have contacted a lawyer who basically said they will delay the process to run the costs up and then settle after a year or two - I will never use Rona again when there are just as capable other box stores around. We are out over $4-5000 asking only for a new washer/dryer. They have to accept responsibility for the water damage as their listing states they will not detach anything even though the deliverer said he was just doing us a favour. Very bad experience with Rona and we are certain to tell all our clients and neighbours in the area that they do not stand behind their own mistakes

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered something online to the cost of $1035.00. Of course they took payment right away. I cancelled on the 5th but because they couldn't track ut they wouldn't cancel. So then I was told to return at delivery by not accepting which I did on the 11th of March. Today they told me that they confirmation I refused delivery but still will not process a refund as the sane vendor you couldn't track has supposedly not received it. This is not my problem its their problem they confirmed I refused delivery so need to put the money back on my card. This is frigging ridiculous its been 20 days since I refused delivery and 26 days since I first tried to cancel.

So Rona wonders why they can't expand their customer base and continue to shutter store locations. I can tell you from my perspective, that their customer service is likely the leading cause. I was about to purchase $2,500 in windows and skylights during their "no sales tax" event. Being a savvy shopper, I did my research and found the exact same items at the Home Depot for less money. I looked up Rona's "Hassle-free Price Match Guarantee" and provided all the details they requested only to be told that they cannot price match items on promotion. The terms and conditions are unclear as they lead the consumer to believe that as long as a competitor to Rona is not advertising a sale, Rona will price match.......not so. Rona told me they won't price match, so I asked for a refund and will go buy my items from their competition since they do a better job ensuring they have the lowest price. Rona brings in customers by stating they'll match the price, but don't deliver. Furthermore, simply matching the price in my opinion, does not earn my business. the competitor who is priced competitively deserves my business since they have done all the leg work. In this case, the consumer is doing the leg work for Rona to get the sale. Absolutely not deserved. I will shop at the Home Depot from now on as Rona has shown me that they don't care about customer retention.

I am so disappointed in the service I got from Rona. Bought a commercial dishwasher there, and even though it was brand new it did not work. Rona told me that I can’t return the appliance, and the manufacturer Forno refused to give a refund, even though there is a one year warranty. So now I’m stuck with a broken commercial dishwasher, but wait Rona offered me $200 refund so I can get it fixed. I won’t support Rona again.

Twice in 6 months I have bought items off Rona.ca and both times I have had troubles. Any communication is unhelpful, untruthful and rude. The first time my contractor was waiting for a bathroom vanity I ordered. They extended twice the date it would arrive and at the last moment said the delivery company wrecked it and to wait 5 days to get my money back in my cc. I was 2 weeks late by that time as they kept putting me off. The second time I ordered tiles that said they were $1.63sq ft in bold black writing with a line and $14.98 under that in light smaller black writing, which I assumed was them in bundles. I input 75sq ft into their calculation page and it gave me the bundles to buy and I did and then received only 10 tiles, so I called and was told a case was made and to wait for an email. When none showed I sent an email and opened a case and sent screenshots of the transaction and the costs their site showed. Then I got a call where they said they couldn’t hear me and would call back but they never did. I called them to have a customer service guy say what I see makes no sense and them saying it’s $1.63sq ft for a tile that is just 11.5” x 11.7” tells him they are $14.98 each. He says it to me three times but can’t explain how he could say that so I ask for a supervisor. He’s so rude and bored and it’s obvious. There’s no one to talk to me he says. I work so I arrange with him a call today at 12:30. No one calls. Once again a tradesman is waiting for things I bought from you and you have lied in your ad and misled me and now are ghosting me. Awful way to treat people. I’m do renos and now I won’t buy in your store

I'be been waiting for almost 3 months now to return a purchase. They sent me several incorrect shipping labels and then when I finally phoned Purolator for pick-up (shipping label still had incorrect weight), they would not pick up from my area. It was too heavy for me to return to a purolator depot myself. However, the item WAS DELIVERED to my home, albeit by Fed-EX. Then the Rona rep told me to put the purchase in two boxes and bring it to a Purolator outlet. I told them the two boxes were out of the question, where would I get them? Hassle free returns, my foot! So they replied that they were having issues with Purolator anyway and that they'd contact me and send a new shipping label in a few days. Two weeks and another email reminder from me later, she repeated the two box BS and said I would get my money back as soon as the item was safely returned to them. Whad'ya bet that even if I went through the hassle of putting it into two boxes, that Purolator still won't pick it up and most of all would you even trust that they would give you a refund?

Went to Rona today McLeod trail location. Could not even buy 2x4, doors were locked to the yard so I asked for help they tried paging someone after two times of paging no one came. I saw an employee walked past me while I was waiting at the doors. I asked him for help. He said he would page somebody. I told him they’ve paid somebody twice. He said not much more I can do. I said I guess I’m gonna have to go to Home Depot and his response was see you later. It’s pretty bad when every time I go in that store there is nobody to help, but everybody is standing around talking while I was trying to wait for the lumber. There was five staff members at the front sitting around talking.

There is a little East Indian manager at the Leduc store that is very angry and hard to deal with. Not friendly at all. He should not be dealing with costumers.

I am not getting any response from anywhere no one is responding from their team ,it's more than 1 month due to urgency I have done Air shipment paid extra but I didnt get my luggage yet and no one responding also This cargo is fraud or what I don't know first time I have done Air cargo from this site pathetic service

Ever since I used Rona my life has been a nightmare. I bought a beautiful Mirror on line they said it would arrive on Jan 2nd. It never arrived we called Rona they said Puralotor canceled it they must of dropped it. We called Puralator they said Rona cancelled the shipment. Nobody seems to know where my mirror is that I spent $700 on. I also bought a washer and dryer and that experience has been a complete disaster. There installers are horrible. They never showed up twice. I took off work btw. Then they come and say you have to but this certain hose and vent from Rona and you rescheduled another appointment. When you go and turn the dryer on it doesn’t work because it’s the wrong hose connections. Now Rona won’t take accountability for all of this and I’m stuck having to get an hvac guy to come and install the correct hose. I will never use Rona again!!!!!! NO Accountabilty for there products and there customer service is HORRIBLE!!! Nobody CARES that works there. 0 STARS not any star! I just spent over $3000 in appliances and products and Rona won’t do anything! Buyers Beware! Don’t want this to happen to anybody what I went through and spent all this money.
