Rona website says price match...until you get to the counter and cashier says, but Home Depot has to order from same supplier as Rona to get price match( like two companies are going to order from same supplier)! Lol.needless to say I left item at counter!! Rona has no price match policy.!!!

Their site is Fantastic until you try to track your delivery, either on line or over the phone, customer service is absolutely useless. I placed an order for 4 chairs specifically that I could get delivered May 3, I try to track the delivery online it doesn't work? I call nobody knows where I should expect it to have it delivered. OMG This is worst that poor organization This is NO ORGANIZATION AT ALL

website search function is terrible. just try to find 2x4s even. The search quary needs to be expanded to accept multiple different words that help find same product. view my pic. I look for 2x4s. It knows it is framing. but nothing shows up. lowes software works perfect. Why not Rona?

Order process was smooth. Price reasonable. And delivery quick. HOWEVER, I did not receive what I ordered and was not informed that the order was incomplete. I ordered two of the same item. I opened the parcel a few days after it arrived (I was busy) and only one of the two identical items arrived. I received no email about this at all and no reimbursement to my credit card until I spent over 25 minutes on the phone with customer service sorting it out. Lovely person helping me but honestly, it should not be on me to correct this situation. I should have been notified and asked if I wanted to continue with the order seeing as my order was incomplete.

Inconsistencies --my mother bought a nice Xmas decoration and sent it early to me and my 4 other siblings. She bought them online and sent them. Every other sibling got the batteries included with their gift except me. My mother was so embarrassed as she was assured that none of her kids would have to go out and spend 15-20$ on batteries as they would, of course, be included as a complimentary gift considering she dropped over 250$ on 5 separate gifts. And the funny thing is, I am the broke child. All of my other siblings are doing well. So, thanks Rona Victoria staff.....you truly embodied the spirit of a Xmas character..... .SCROOGE. Are you guys really that hard up you can't throw in some batteries? Please re-think your approach to customer service. You all surely need it! And remember, we are all having a hard time with inflation and rising costs....not just you. Really should be quite ashamed if that was the reason they weren't included.

Vancouver Rona Grandview location closing due to poor sales I visited Grandview Rona the afternoon of Dec. 7, 2023 to buy metric bolts for mounting my TV. As another reviewer mentioned, very few staff are working at this location, and so I felt lucky after finding the fasteners section by myself within 5 minutes of entering the store. Then came a bigger challenge: finding the right size metric bolts within that section. After about 10 minutes of searching, I found some which fit my TV, but they didn't have heads I could tighten with my screwdriver. I wanted to ask someone familiar with that section if there were other metric fasteners I hadn't noticed, but I didn't see anyone in the department, so I asked a (rare) passing worker if they could help me. They tried their best, but we didn't find any metric bold I hadn't already seen. I asked them if this store is always short-staffed, and they said yes, and that, like Lowe's/Rona in Queensborough, Grandview Rona would also be permanently closing due to poor sales. I said that I also shop at Home Depot in Vancouver and Burnaby, and that they appear to be doing well based on their stores being at least partially full of customers. They replied Home Depot is more successful at keeping customers because they employ enough people to help customers, unlike Rona/ Lowe's. They added, "Home Depots pays their staff better, and does not continually reduce employee hours, forcing experienced workers to quit and be replaced by new, often inexperienced ones unable to help customers find what they need."

I agree … never order online. I bought a lovely set of patio furniture from them. Took a long while to get it and trying to track it was a nightmare. Anyways I finally found out that although I live in Ottawa this was coming from B.C. It finally arrived but one section was wrong. Well, try contacting them! Not going to happen. I contacted different customer services of theirs online and got different answers but no solutions. This was May. I still have the wrong piece but paid the full price. Phoned their number but no option for talking to anyone. So I’m stuck with an expensive piece of furniture with an armchair piece on one end and no arm on the other end, throw pillow missing and a “who cares” attitude from Rona.

Placed order on line. Got the email..can't track the order without an account Opened an on line account just to track my order No record of the oder on line..payment had been processed Tried customer service number..no direction on how to talk to a person Figured it out...'experiencing longer than normal delays' Called the pick up store..initially no record of the order...patient staff tracked it down..said it was ready Drove 30 minutes to pick.it up. Delayed due to computer system..not sure the 2 staff involved were able to key in thst the order had been.pucked up. Two stars because the staff were patient and helpful. Zero.stars for ypur on line order process

project # 715525 1- the project accomplished by professional, friendly people at time and cost effective manner at very busy season of the year which is really appreciated 2- my quote included (as I've understood ) removal and disposal of the old gazebo ,, it's been removed but not been disposed , So I've rented a van from Lowe's and paid 25C$ disposal fee as some part of old gazebo are not recycled 3- I've done a diagram and I've provided it to both Rona expert and the contractor and insisted to be at that shape but it's been built in other shape ( its not a big deal as they experts know more than me but I have to buy more materials to modify it to the shape that I wanted to be 4 - know the big issue is here ,, the gazebo is leaking from many spots. according to the quote is should be waterproof and we've chosen the ,materials for this purpose, attached some pictures and video

Customer service at Rona is absolutely awful and at Lowe's is just as bad. The way they handle returns is so stress inducing, the phone lines are tied up forever, it takes weeks to be able to return anything while you wait to get a UPS label. Their prices are insane!! Never again.

went to pick up online order and been waiting for one hour. Fortunately, a worker named David who noticed my waiting time and helped me get my order. Otherwise, maybe have to wait another hour.

Nobody in parking lot and I'm told my plumbing part is delayed but 48 hours.....employees doing nothing.....screw this place. Prior to that they were a 4 in my books

Purchased new washer and dryer in September when my washer died. Went to Rona, Barrie purchased and advised it would not be in until 2 Jan 21, begrudgingly we purchase. Dec, I call to see if my delivery date has changed. They advised me the washer is in but Dryer not until end Jan now. I said, please bring my washer, I need it and I paid for it. Ok they can deliver early end Dec. Excellent! They call us 4 times to make sure we will be home, yes we are here. They arrive truck at the end of my driveway. We cannot drop it off, why? I ask. You have a little snow in your driveway we may fall. Are you kidding me!! It was just snow blown yesterday and a light dusting of snow on the driveway. He said, "they were suppose to tell you it needs to be totally cleared " I say, who is "they" I have talked to 4 people today and no one told me it needed to be 100% cleared. Well Rona should have. Well I don't think they thought of it when I ordered in September!! Needless to say, I become pretty infuriated to know my washer that I purchased 3 months ago and is fully paid for is sitting on a truck at the end of my drive way and they refuse to take it off. After many calls back and forth with customer service/dispatcher the drivers take it off the truck and leave it at the end of my drive. Thank goodness for my son and hubby being home. Can't wait to see how the delivery of my dryer goes. I feel so sorry for seniors should they not be physically able to get out to clear a dusting of snow.

I went to one Rona and purchased $1000 of tiles. We had only three cases extra after our renovations. We went to another Rona to return them. But they won’t accept them because they don’t carry those tiles. However, they are able to transfer a light fixture to the Rona which is now closest to my new home. So the truck can bring things from store to store. But they can’t do the same for returns to help customers? Doesn’t make sense. Better customer service is needed. I don’t appreciate stores that do not have customer service all the way through. Not just to make the sale and then stops.

I ordered a gazebo from Rona at the Blythwood Road London Ontario location. Since it was an online order, I picked it up via curbside pickup. I got to the store @ 3:20pm I called the number to say that I was there to pickup the item,I waited until 4pm and had to call them again and say that I was still waiting in parking spot #9 and they said sorry that they were still working on getting it . I waited again until 4:40 after I watch two gentleman trying to put what looked like a rather large box into someones vehicle that just pulled up 5 minutes before. I had to call again and was told that they would be out as soon as they found another person to help lift it. This time they came out 5 minutes later without the proper tools to take off the brackets holding the box together. ( which took approximately 20 minutes ) By the time I got my item, it was 5:30.It took over two hours to get my gazebo and I was not impressed! I will think hard about buying anything from Rona again online after this experience. Turns out, the gentlemen were trying to put my item in someone elses vehicle. We are not impressed since they should be asking for proof of purchase.
