I was a returning customer, having been extremely satisfied with previous purchases, However on this occasion of the purchase of a TV corner unit, the package arrived unannounced via XPD courier service at a very inconvenient time and was left before it could be examined. On unpacking the unit was found to be damaged both on the back, which was not a great problem, but also on the front which was very noticeable, also areas of the cabinet were very poorly finished, some appearing not to have any varnish at all. Although the customer service was reasonably OK via e-mail and waiting several days for a reply, I feel that a phone call from the company could have expedited matters in a more efficient manner, the old , We are working from home and can not answer the phone excuse after a year is wearing a bit thin. Also having to make my own return labels as non were forth coming was a bit of a cheek as was the offer of a £30 reduction in the price if I kept the cabinet, the damage was most likely caused in transit but the quality was poor and customer service needs to be tweaked somewhat.
