I bought 2 oak bedroom sets. They were delivered quickly & the guys who bought them in were very courteous. I unpacked the items & on first impressions were that they looked great. However at the foot of the units the inside parts have not been ‘finished’, they are a different colour & texture to the front/sides of the items. There was also a chip off one of the wardrobes, I’m not sure if it’s solid wood or veneered? Assembly of the top of the wardrobes were ok, however there were no holes in the wood that you were screwing into. I was concerned that I would splinter the wood so I had to make my own small drill holes to prevent this. I have photos of the unfinished units & chipping but I have not been able to add them to this review. In all I would say the the items look nice on a quick first view, but when you look closer you can see why this furniture is cheaper than some other oak furniture suppliers. I guess it’s a matter of you get what you pay for.
