Delivery man sent text this morning to say delivering box of M&S wine (Xmas present) between 15:22 and 16:22. Paid extra for delivery today. Was loaded onto van 10:36, but after waiting all afternoon I checked tracking and it said that delivery man had returned to depot in Edinburgh at 18:51. Was supposed to deliver my Xmas presents to sister on Sunday, but the online tracking claims they will try to deliver next working day - ridiculous! Have had this before - they don't like delivering on a Friday evening. If stores would use DPD and Hermes then Royal Mail would have to improve.
