Today I received a message from Royal Mail to say they attempted to collect my parcel but 'there didn't seem to be anyone in when we called'. Except there was someone in. I have been waiting, with the door open, all day and no one came to collect the parcel. Why say that you attempted to collect when you clearly did not?
This is not a unique experience, in fact it has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME a company has chosen to use Royal Mail to deliver my parcels. On each occasion, no one attempted to knock on my door for me to receive my parcel. Instead, a card was left in my mail box. Was it really too much effort to walk a few feet to knock on my door so that I can be handed my parcels in person?
