I've gotten to the point where I feel grateful when a parcel actually arrives! They're often just left at the local dispatch office with no attempt to deliver or notify they have it.
I was sent a package - "Guaranteed by 1pm delivery" for 3 days ago. Tracking says it got to my local D.O. and that's the last I've heard of it. I'll have to head over there tomorrow to pick it up. And a package that was posted first class recorded over 2 weeks ago finally arrived today; and I felt grateful.
