I was at home, the postman did not knock or ring my bell. The card he left told me my parcel was in Coventry, I live 10 miles from there.
When I went to collect I was told the card gave the wrong address, no apology was offered, I then had to queue at my local sorting office in the rain the next day, this is the 3rd or 4th time something similar has happened. I once went to a Post Office to collect my parcel, and found every single delivery for that morning had been left filling the small shop.
I now ask an on-line supplier if they use the Royal Mail, if they do, I will not place an order. I would rather pay more to use any other carrier.
