I sent a letter to Guernsey by recorded delivery from a Birmingham post office 5 days ago. The “certificate of posting” promised next day guaranteed delivery and that the letter could be tracked on Royal Mail online tracking.
I have just tried to track my letter on the Royal Mail website. It still shows only the posting date and says that my letter is still in Birmingham.
I paid £6.60 for a non-existent service.
