I buy old photographs and prints online. The tracking numbers I am given work for all delivery companies apart from the Royal Mail. Nearly every time I paste the tracking number and get a message saying they can't provide information right now and to try again later. Having to get through that authentication screen each time is an added irritation when I hardly ever get what I need! Why can't they get their act together? I don't accept that it's the seller's fault as it doesn't happen with other delivery companies. I also find the blithe reassurance on the RM site, when the information is not forthcoming, that we're not to worry and the item is on its way very unprofessional. This is just not good enough.
