So If I purchase something from China RoyalMail charge the customs duty and VAT. That is absolutly fine and I am happy to pay that. However When the item is £16 so RoyalMail charge £3.34 VAT and duties but also add £8 admin fee for an automated service, then I am sure that constitues Punitive charging. However we in the UK have no option to opt out of the charges or to use an alternative provider.
It is about time we had an authorative control group (whom we can compain to) not associated with RoyalMail and not funded or pursuaded by them in any way.
