Rescued very badly damaged swan (signet) from river .....EVERY contact route to/through RSPCA totally and utterly useless. Eventually located a local charity who collected the bird .....they were superb.
I would NEVER support the RSPCA again and recommend people to support small charities....the RSPCA should be broken up into smaller elements, management structure dismantled and there should be a regulatory body to ensure donations truly are animal focused and not management bank accounts...
