I would NOT recommend dealing with this company. I ordered a crank sensor (via eBay) for a 1994 Jaguar XJ40, checking the compatibility using their online registration checker. The part was offered and was advertised as fitting a 1990 to 1997 Jaguar Xj40. Great! I ordered, and received the item only to realise that the part didn’t fit when attempting to install. On investigating, the part they have sold me as advertised only fits in 1995+ model. I discussed the return and replacement of the part and they were not willing to help me, claiming that I should have called them and spoke in person to discuss before ordering, even though the return compatibility checker said it was correct. This is purely based on their Policy of a 30 day refund, which as noted I was well out because the car is stored some way away. They are incorrectly advertising parts that do not fit. I was met with an unhelpful response from customer services, and also when I called the shop (which the number is wrong on google by the way). If I had mistakenly ordered the wrong part and found myself outside of the 30 day period. I wholeheartedly wouldn’t expect a refund or replacement, but this is different. I am in the process of raising a trading standards Complaint under the consumer standards act 2015, and eBay are also investigating RTG Automotive for misrepresentation of goods. AVOID.
