I normally don't eat at restaurants any more but decided to dine at the Ruby Tuesday in Dallas GA after work yesterday to prepare for my blood donation today. I ordered a 6oz ribeye, baked potato, sauteed zucchini and salad bar. The steak was okay but a little undercooked and very thin. The baked potato was very small and was not fresh at all. The potato looked and tasted like it was at least a day old. It was hard and starchy. not fluffy like a fresh potato should be. The zucchini was okay but lacked flavor. The salad bar was okay but the lettuce could have been fresher but was edible. The server was very nice so I did tip her 22% because I know it's not her fault the way the food came out. They also need to invest in some new silverware. The knife was not very sharp and the forks would not pick up the salad very well. The meal was a little over $32 not including the tip. I could have prepared the same meal and made it taste so much better, no offense. I used to work for Ruby Tuesday many years ago. The menu has completely changed since then but I do remember the food was very good back then. What happened to good quality food in restaurants? It was definitely not found last night at this Ruby Tuesday's. Very disappointed.
