Me my wife and my small baby, we all hold residence permit in U.K. It was just yesterday we along with my father-in-law and mother-in-law had returned from Turkey visit and they both hold 2 years U.K multiple visit visa.
During arrival at Bristol Airport while checking passport the officer began asking questions about previous exit and entry date and then started blaming telling that my in laws were not abiding the visit visa rules / knowingly breaching them. When me and my wife tried to answer and explain our sayings, the officer did not listen and kept on blaming us. Then they said the head immigration officer will come to investigate about this matter. We were asked to wait in separate area.
After 15 mins he(immigration officer) said there is nothing to worry and it’s all sorted and asked us to collect out luggage and leave.
Seriously is this joke, they just wasted our 1 hour for nothing. If the immigration officer is not sure about the visa rules then please make sure to know them by all means. Our first time traveling from this airport was the worst experience ever .
Learn to respect immigrants too. Please don’t repeat this and make others suffer like we did.
Not really happy with immigration airport.
Thumbs down👎
