I primarily wanted a pair of walking boots which were waterproof and these are, and I think will remain so and give good service. They are necessarily slightly less flexible and are slightly heavier than waterproofed fabric boots, but these tend to let water after a season's wear.
The Rydale boots are most comfortable for me with thick socks.
They are attractive to look at, overall blue with a splash of pink trim.
