I found Safety Restore online after a hit and miss attempt to find a reputable recourse for what seemed to be a simple problem; the replacement of dirty white webbing for 3pt seat belts, removed from my
1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance Coupe. I am only saying what kind of Car it is in full, because it’s unique rarity added to the trouble it was to fix or repair, a (seat belt?) One would think it would be easy to find a ‘used one’ but No, it was not. Starting out with a supposed reputable firm in local suburb of Portland, Oregon and just a headliner replacement, that leading to the belt refurbishment, the firm wasted nearly a year of my time, the use of the car, and failure in the end to fix either one. Of course I did not allow the repair of the former, without the successful restoration of the later. I spent weeks, months and wasted money, trying to get suitable replacements from eBay, Craig’s List, Amazon and where ever I could look.
When I happened upon Safety Restore, I was at wits end to get this done. The project proved to be a challenge for Safety Restore as well, with problems at several levels, and the refund without hesitation for failure to accomplish what they said could do, in advertised time line.
Undaunted, and with profound courtesy and professionalism, Russel persisted, and went way out of his way to help me. This kind of customer service is such a rarity these days, I was deeply impressed of his and Safety Restore’s dedication and follow through of Customer Service, of what to some, would be a small, throw away thing; It is my personal mission to get the message out to anyone and everyone I come in contact with, within the various Car Clubs I belong to whether it be National, International and Local, boasting the integrity and reliability of this company. I am truly impressed, and wish to thank everyone involved at Safety Restore, as a very satisfied and grateful customer. By doing this, we have kept a worthy and rare beautiful car, on the road, and lives safe, into the future.
Thank you,
Thomas L Rawdon
