After taking my recently repaired 2013 Chevy Malibu in to our local Chevrolet dealership to have the used airbag module I had installed, reprogrammed, I was inform that they wouldn't provide that service and I would need to have a new module installed for a cost of $600.00 or more. I decided to do some research of my own and that is when I discovered Safety Restore. I admit I was skeptical but decided I didn't have much to lose so sent them my original module. I was informed by a technician that I would not need to take my car back to the dealership for reprogramming after the repairs had been completed.
