Home Insurance renewal price very, very expensive. Decided not to renew and purchased elsewhere very much cheaper. Total unaware that an autorenewal was ticked: this not mentioned in email or renewal letter. Over £320 deducted from my account and 'oh boy' - is it difficult to get hold of this company. After being on hold for 45+ mins I was allowed to cancel a policy that I did not want. I was made to agree to their cancelation policy in order to cancel the damned thing. Their policy is that I won't get all my money back. After complaining that I had now been on the phone for almost an hour, I was offered £15 to 'my Saga account'. Hardly any use as I am not going to go near Saga again and even though i tried to set up an account I never found my policy on it. I must now wait and see what they actually pay me, or probably better I have to go via my credit card company and open a dispute and do it that way.
