Retired, didn't need two cars anymore so sold one and cancelled my insurance with Saga. I was told that that was that and that the direct debit would be stopped at midnight on that day, all payments up to date. A couple of days later I received a letter from Saga telling me that I owed them £57.77. I queried this and was told that there was a £50 cancellation fee.
Make sure you read the small print is the message, £50 is excessive and I would never take out any insurance with Saga again.
