Sardinia made a great sailing area with good winds and beautiful islands to visit.
Area is quite compact although sailing to Corsica is a bonus.
Only issue was that there are limited number of attractive towns with harbours to visit. Other options are to anchor in the many isolated bays and self cater or use the purpose built marinas which have hotels/yacht clubs attached with up market restaurants
Boat in Sardinia was well sorted and handover simple and quick.
