Having shopped online with Sainsbury’s for many years, have experienced the most ‘challenging’ substitutes ! And to be fair the delivery staff have been polite,courteous friendly and helpful.
But following a phone call querying refund on substitutes, I will never shop with Sainsbury’s again. The male’ colleague ‘ was rude, patronising and aggressive,asked to speak to a manager, he said there weren’t any availability,
I insisted, guess what happened next put me on hold for 10 minutes then cut me off.
So I phoned back got through to a female‘colleague’, who was able to resolve the refund in minutes.
The refund will lie in my account for the two years it is valid, as I will not be activating my account ever again.
So another’valued customer’ lost !
