On our recent visit to Hempstead Valley Sainsbury’s, we wanted to buy loose Brussels sprouts but couldn’t find the plastic bags to put them in. On enquiring, we were told that they no longer provide these bags and that we would have to purchase a reusable bag (30p).
While we agree with reducing plastic use, we object to having to buy a reusable (plastic) bag.
Why can’t we have a paper bag, made from recycled paper, which can then be recycled again.
