I am 72 years old and thought I would take advantage of the opportunity of the first hour set aside for the elderly and vulnerable customers in your Eltham store.
I arrived at 07.15 and found the store full of people of all ages twenties and thirties included. There was one poor blind person who was waiting for help which was not forthcoming.
I asked a member of staff who seemed to be in charge if the hour set aside had come in to force. He said it had but it had not been enforced.
If the Eltham store Is indicative of the shopping experience in Sainsbury’s nationally I think you will receive a lot more complaints.
