I am reviewing the Autumn Moon Festival box, September 2025. The main feature was rabbit themed snacks, including one Usagi Pon Sembei, made with a recipe over half a century old. The handcrafted Tsukimi cookie, the Usagi Manju... as a person who physically lived in Japan for five solid years, just down the road from a small, hometown shrine that went all out for every festival on the calendar, I sincerely felt like I was back at that shrine, enjoying bunny themed treats, listening to stories about the moon, watching children squeal in delight when they caught a goldfish at the game tent... I had eaten my way through half the box and so many lovely memories before I realized it. I will most assuredly be using the stunning handmade ceramic teacup with leaping bunnies, being able to see the finger grooves in the glaze is such a lovely, certifiably hand made touch. I will definitely be coming back to Sakuraco.
