“I absolutely loved April’s Sakuraco “Moonlight Festival” box—this one felt truly special from start to finish. The entire theme captured that peaceful, almost nostalgic feeling of a spring evening under the moon, and every item seemed thoughtfully chosen to match it.
The snacks themselves were outstanding. There was a great balance between sweet and savory, and nothing felt like filler. A few of the traditional wagashi-style treats really stood out—they weren’t just delicious, they felt like little pieces of art. The flavours leaned beautifully into seasonal notes like sakura and subtle sweetness rather than anything overpowering, which I appreciated.
Presentation, as always with Sakuraco, was top-tier. The packaging was elegant and calming, and opening the box genuinely felt like an experience rather than just unboxing snacks.
The included booklet added a lot of value too—I enjoyed learning about the cultural background of the Moonlight Festival and how each item connected to it.
What really made this box shine for me was the atmosphere it created. It wasn’t just about eating snacks—it felt like slowing down, enjoying the moment, and being transported somewhere quiet and reflective.
