“This is an amazing company that bring the world of Japanese authentic snacks all over the world. I have gotten the box in the past, and recently as a gift, and I could be more excited! Their snacks are always top quality, and the book that comes with the box is perfect. It explains the information and history of the snacks, and the added item in each box, fully illustrated the experience of these boxes.”
“While I enjoyed most things in this box the tea was not my favorite as I had tried it in my holiday advent calendar and did not really care for it but overall the quality of the snacks was excellent as always and my box arrived in a timely manner I will say another thing that did leave me slightly upset was that the box that my items arrived in arrived damaged which made me kind of sad since it was such a pretty box I really wish they would package their boxes in cardboard boxes so they're more protected”
“I recently tried the Sakuraco Sakura Box and really enjoyed it. The packaging was beautiful and felt very thoughtful, with everything arranged nicely inside. It honestly felt more like opening a seasonal gift than a regular snack box.
The snacks were a nice mix of sweet and savory. I especially liked the sakura-flavored treats—they had a light floral taste that wasn’t too strong. The rice crackers were also great and balanced out the sweeter snacks. The booklet that comes with the box was a nice touch too, explaining where the snacks come from and the traditions behind them.
Overall, it’s a really fun way to try traditional Japanese snacks and experience a bit of cherry blossom season from home. I’d definitely recommend it if you enjoy Japanese treats or like trying unique snack boxes.”
“We love the box and its contents but the company used to ship it has destroyed the last 2!! So far both damaged boxes have been missing items so we are very sad to not get the full experience”
“Just opened our first out of six boxes. I love the book that tells you everything about each item. It also educates you on so much about Japan. From stories of cranes, fabrics of kimonos, a tale of Star crossed lover that has. Even told for centuries, matcha, and more. Our kids and ourselves trying the snacks. But if you have allergies, even if packaging says made in same facility do not try it. Can’t wait for our next box.”
“I feel like they are a scam company. I ordered a gift for someone that was for 3 boxes. I was charged for 3 more without any notice. When I reached out the same day it was charged they said they would not refund this unauthorized auto renew. The company spends all their money on marketing and beautiful boxes, but the content of the box is pathetic. You’ll get one cracker in a wrapper. and a whole pamphlet explaining these snacks that are literally one bite. For such an expensive box, it is a total scam.”
“The booklet detailing the origin of the snacks and highlights on small businesses is one of my favorite parts of receiving a snack box. The snacks are tasty, with typically a good variety of types of snacks- cake/pastry, savory, candy etc.”
“I normally dont leave bad reviews but honestly the candy was terrible the ramune mochi tasted like I was eating a big gloop of bubblegum NOT ramune. The candy assorted box I got tasted like nothing exept the jelly bean things and the sakura jelly candy almost had a bread taste- like bread in water?? It was so gross and the ramune star candies tasted like literally nothing. all of the items looked smaller than listed. im not new to exotic flavors or Japanese candy”
“Often times in the Sakuraco box they give us mochi! My family loves it and we’re always happy when we get some in our box!!! It’s super delicious and fun to share!”
“I was truly very happy about my Sakuraco box! I think the idea of trying traditional Japanese snacks from different regions is wonderful. You can really tell how much care and love goes into the selection and presentation. For me, it felt like a little culinary trip to Japan – and I’m already looking forward to discovering many more new flavors! 🌸🍵”
“Received this box in February, was absolute fantastic the amount things that were in it and the little pamphlet that tells you the history on some things in it was awesome. would absolutely recommend it to somebody interested in Japanese culture.”
“I just received my first box and I live it. Matcha chocolate and the most lovely cloth pouch. I am sooo happy. Authentic Japanese snacks right at my home”
“The Sakuraco boxes are a lot of fun. They hold all kinds of snacks and treats and even some tableware. If you love Japan, this is a great gift. Some snacks aren't for vegetarians and many aren't for vegans. As a vegetarian the past two boxes have been ok and good. But I wouldn't recommend them for vegans.
It's not cheap but it's a wonderful edible gift. To yourself or others. 😉”
