“Appears to be a small box but it packs a lot of snacks perfectly into a sturdy box. It’s a strawberry, caramel and chocolate kind of month! Included in this box were pieces of soft cake, jelly-textured chocolate goods, crispy cookies with a hint of orange, chocolate filled cookie, crunchy chocolate crackers, many types of savory crunchy senbei and arare, chocolate mochi, strawberry monaka, strawberry coated nuts and strawberry puffed rice covered in chocolate. A non-food item was included- a pretty pink colored wrapping cloth. To round out the box a delicious caramel flavored hojicha tea was included. A great box, I would reorder this in the future.”

“I purchased this as a gift for my partner. I enjoyed the sweets and the porcelain plate very much in the December box. However we only enjoyed 7 out of the 14 items. Most of them were singles so we had to share small portions of an already small item. I was hoping the February box would come back with a big hit but my gift ended up being a piece of cloth. I didn't buy this box just for the treats I especially wanted the japanese porcelain items they advertise so much. When I found out the surprise item was a piece of cloth it really solidified it for me. I don't think I will be happy with my third box so I am probably going to cancel. The snacks are ok but half of the box always ends up being senbei and the tea is always green tea. I was really hoping for something more elegant and fruitful after seeing all the reviews of these amazing cups, plates and snacks. Just an overall huge disappointment for the amount of money.”

“I recommend Sakuraco because I lived in Japan, and now I'm in America but I can't find the unique flavors of the seasons as I did when I lived there. All I can find in stores in the states is the same type of hi-chew, gummy, or KitKat. But Japanese sweets are much more than that. This company gives an in depth look into where these treats come from, giving insight into some of the companies. I love this! The treats were delicious and reminiscent of my time in Japan and helps me with my reverse culture shock that sometimes hits. Thank you so much for this! While I don't have the money to do this constantly, I am so glad they have monthly options, so you can get it once, wait, then get one another time without a subscription.
