“I got a broad variety of different snacks, the portions aren't big, but it is enough to try and share some of it.
The delivery took 2 weeks, which is quite good and the box is sturdy and kept everything safe, including the glass it contained.
The different snacks are described in a book, including allergies, traces it can contain and if it is vegetarian friendly. I found a few new snacks that I'll be looking for in the future.
The price isn't cheap, but if you import something you should expect to pay a bit more, so nothing out of the ordinary.”
“I am completing my 6 month subscription and I must say, WOW what a great company, I am preparing to go to Japan so it has been a whirlwind of flavours ranging from sweet salty umami and bitter! All were delicious and the packet that comes with all the snacks and apparel allow you to learn about different cities and traditions!”

It’s a shame the snacks run out so quickly. The only thing I wish could be changed is being able to have other options for certain dietary needs.”

“Overall a fun and exciting box. Very quick delivery considering it came all the way from Japan and I was happy that the small dish that came with mine was intact. The snacks themselves were quite tasty though quite a few of them were either a rice cracker type snack or had umeboshi plum flavor which did leave a little to be desired in snack variety.”

“Our box was a sumptuous exploration of autumnal themes. We enjoyed it in the surroundings of the local Japanese garden. Each step of the experience seemed to elevate our mood and satisfaction, with an intoxicating variety of flavours and textures. There was even a complimentary ceramic bowl. Some of the items were broken, but many of them were naturally brittle and difficult to protect in transit. We managed to remember to bring hot water for the tea (supplied in teabags), which was a crucial element to the experience. The amount of plastic packaging was excessive but the presentation was very impressive - both typical of the Japanese way. In summary, a wonderful experience to share with someone you appreciate.”
“Some of my treats were broken, but the box was safely packed so I think it was before shipping. I loved the theme of this box, all the rabbits were adorable. My favorite were the rabbit gummies with the moon, such a nice texture and sweet taste.”

Knocking off a star because some items that were shown to come as two in a box I only got one, as well as getting something not listed in the book that I don’t know what it is. The fragile crackers were smashed to pieces, even though the box was fine, so don’t expect everything to be in one piece when it arrives.”
“Took me a long time of looking and social media ads but finally bought my first box. Impressed with the selection and variety of sweet and savoury “snacks”. Bought specifically to have little treats when serving green tea or matcha to guests. Jury is still put on whether I really like… or might actually “love it”.”
“Beside the really beautiful box and the great, informative booklet I just love the variety it provides. Although for vegetarians the most edible thinks are sweets, these don’t get boring, as they offer different types of texture and taste.”
“Overall good experience
I had a problem where I suscribed for 1 month, and then changed it for 3 months but the 1 month did not conclude, but by requesting help, they helped me change the delivery date so I could get different boxed (I would have gotten the same box otherwise).
Regarding the content of the box, I find it more sweet most of the time, there is always tea and a jelly with I an not fond of, but the different taste, and the cute presentation make it worthwhile.
There are always some savory nuts and rices that make me stay here.”

I enjoyed snacks very much, but some of them are so distinctively and uniquely Japanese that my young granddaughters may not actually enjoy them as snack although they would love the way they look…. So pretty.”
