“I’m very happy with my subscription box, and the postcard is beautiful—I love receiving those prints. This is my second box from Sakuraco, and it looks wonderful. The mochi is delicious!
I paid extra to receive Japanese tea, and while I received it in my first box, I did not receive it in my second box. I was supposed to get the Asahina Matcha. I have emailed the company about the missing item today, so hopefully, I will receive a follow-up in the next few days.
Because of this missing item, I am giving the box four stars.”

There are so many different things to try all extremely nice I might add, and to receive a booklet telling you about the products and history was interesting. I got a beautiful blue dish ( apparently for tea). But its too nice,

“This box was a really interesting experience! I'm thankful I purchased it to try. There were all sorts of different snacks/flavors so everyone I was with tried something they liked. There was also a good assortment of savory and sweet snacks. There were cookies,wafers, jellies, and tea. I do wish that there were more than 2 tea bags included as tea was a big selling point for myself. But overall I enjoyed the book including explanations of products and the region. I think that the box is a good value for how many food items your getting. I'm excited to see in the coming months how much the food items will vary.”
“I love my sakura boxes which arrive each month with fascinating treats to try and lots of interesting information and photos.
The included small decorative plate at the bottom of each box has been a delightful surprise .
It is such a shame that the lovely, reusable boxes, are spoilt by large ugly postal stickers here in Australia. They are very hard to remove.
Wish I knew how to attach photos of how I have used the Hand painted cards from each box to restore its beauty.”
“Love the Sakura box this time! Special mention to the cheese arare, strawberry butter senbei and white chocolate strawberries. They were soooo good! The senbei was so crisp and I love how the strawberry powder added another layer to the flavours. Happy after tasting the treats :)”
“I got a broad variety of different snacks, the portions aren't big, but it is enough to try and share some of it.
The delivery took 2 weeks, which is quite good and the box is sturdy and kept everything safe, including the glass it contained.
The different snacks are described in a book, including allergies, traces it can contain and if it is vegetarian friendly. I found a few new snacks that I'll be looking for in the future.
The price isn't cheap, but if you import something you should expect to pay a bit more, so nothing out of the ordinary.”
“I am completing my 6 month subscription and I must say, WOW what a great company, I am preparing to go to Japan so it has been a whirlwind of flavours ranging from sweet salty umami and bitter! All were delicious and the packet that comes with all the snacks and apparel allow you to learn about different cities and traditions!”
“There is a great selection of snacks and tea. Every box is quite varied with both sweet and savoury snacks. It is also nice how they are themed. Everything tastes great. It’s a shame the snacks run out so quickly. The only thing I wish could be changed is being able to have other options for certain dietary needs.”

“Overall a fun and exciting box. Very quick delivery considering it came all the way from Japan and I was happy that the small dish that came with mine was intact. The snacks themselves were quite tasty though quite a few of them were either a rice cracker type snack or had umeboshi plum flavor which did leave a little to be desired in snack variety.”
