This is a great box, I can try a variety of treats that get sent to me monthly. I like that it wasn't just small treats but tea and plates too. Perfect to share with friends.

Just opened my Sakuraco box full of Japanese treats from Okinawa. Delicious, unique... Highly recommend!

The July Box was filled with delightfully light snacks filled with hyperlocal Okinawa flavors of sweet potato, citrus and brown sugar. Even as I restrict my intake, an item a day easily fits into my budget.

A well considered box packed with unique monthly themes, the variety of snacks and story behind them really takes me to Japan. The bonus gift and ‘snackware’ is a sweet touch that brings a unique and authentic snacking experience! There’s still room for improvement in terms of the ordering and user portal but overall a truly indulgent gift of self love during this time.

The box is packed full of a variety of snacks, no filler at all. They are large enough to share, or they provide two of the small items. I love the monthly post card which features japanese art, and dispIay each month on my cork board. I took one star off because the household items have been plastic. I understand that plastic is less likely to break during shipping but I would rather get a smaller item of a nicer material (chopsticks, furoshiki, soy sauce dish...) then anything plastic.

I got the July 2021 box. I was very excited to get my first box from Sakuraco after seeing the pictures and I was very impressed! There were just a few problems. For one, the only shipping option I had was expensive which they said was because of COVID and all which I get. Also I was slightly disappointed by the quality of the side dish as it was slightly scratched when it came. But nonetheless I am still looking forward to the next box I will be getting!

Mein erstes Packet. Es sieht alles frisch aus. Das Tellerchen ist leider aus Plastic

The June box was delicious! Beautifully packaged as always. Nearly flawless. Only 2 downsides: the Japanese dishware is plastic instead of stone or ceramic, and the jelly snacks in plastic cups sometimes don't survive the summer heat (they all taste amazing, but some had to be discarded because the plastic leeched into them due to the heat.)

I really enjoy having my special treats curated monthly by Sakuraco especially during this tough time when we can't travel to Japan. They deliver assorted Japanese sweets and snacks which reflect different theme every month. I love how they focus more on bringing traditional style-snacks such as taiyaki and mochi, which taste great!

Each month the package is on time with new items and only rarely are they in bad shape. A few food items have arrived crushed, but that's it. It's a fun thing every once in awhile to try new things and this way you get unique items. I'm planning on visiting Japan in the future and this is a way for me to try a bit more than just candy and adjust my palette. The little booklets that list the snacks are very fun.

The package I received was unique and everything was really delicious however we didn't receive the "Sakura-mini Baumkuchen", it was a disappointment to not receive this product.

Everything in box was great and as described. It took 15 days to be delivered despite express shipping.

I loved a lot of things in the Sakura co box. Although we did have some trouble getting the box. I loved it though :)

Got my first box and the snacks are awesome! Unfortunately one of the jelly snacks was punctured before I received the box so a little bit of it had spilled on the inside and made things sticky.

This is a review of June’s box and my first box. I thought they were presented well in a nice box and the information book was excellent. All items were fresh. My only real criticism is and maybe a culture thing, but there was not a lot of taste and although each item was individually presented they all were very much the same in texture and content. As l have stated this was my first box and l can’t fault the company in dlivery, presentation or quantity and after three boxes then perhaps a better evaluation maybe ascertained on the content of taste and variation. This is very much a more

I love the box since it gives you a variety of traditional Japanese treats that you won't easily find in the market. You also get nice information from their booklet and dishware that you can use and it will last for a while. I am only a bit sad that shipping was a bit rough on the package so some of the contents were crushed in transit. I think adding a fragile sticker can help letting shippers know to handle it with more care

Delicious snacks but most cookies were broken on arrival. I liked the information booklet. I am looking forward to next month.

Overall pretty good but have to agree with other reviews that the box isn’t cheap. With shipping it’s almost US$50 per box, and most of the snacks, while tasty, aren’t anything dissimilar to what you can find in Asian supermarkets in North America. For the May box the special snack was the puffer fish, but the air-filled plastic bag wasn’t enough to protect it and there was no extra cushioning whatsoever so it came crushed into many pieces and it was quite disappointing. The info booklet was a nice touch and pleasant surprise, and there were two extra snacks from the April box included. I like the box and the marketing and packaging are beautiful, but on the fence because of cost and not sure if I would continue to subscribe once my current one is up.
