While travel to Japan during COVID-19 is limited, this box offered an authentic taste of the seasonal and local delicacies that cannot be found elsewhere.”

“Lovely treats that are very tasty and the informational booklet is great- my only comment is I wish the box came with more tea. There were only 2 tea packets and there were so many treats, there is no way I can enjoy tea with all of them. I will have to use my personal supply of tea in order to enjoy all the treats in the September box.”
“The box came and it was so beautiful and considering it came from abroad, the delivery was very fast. Greatly enjoyed the package, you can clearly see that the team puts so much effort with the booklet explaining the theme and each treats and its histories. Love all the treats, especially the jellies, I just hope there's more because it just leaves me wanting more. I've been keeping myself from consuming the whole box of treats, just one pack of treat a day. I'm already excited for next month's box!”
“Great value for the variety of treats and efforts the team put into each month’s box, from the booklet and packaging to the written information for each snacks. That being said not everyone likes to post on social media so perhaps introducing other ways for users to have the chance at the monthly contest would be great.”

I took one star off because the household items have been plastic. I understand that plastic is less likely to break during shipping but I would rather get a smaller item of a nicer material (chopsticks, furoshiki, soy sauce dish...) then anything plastic.”
“I got the July 2021 box. I was very excited to get my first box from Sakuraco after seeing the pictures and I was very impressed! There were just a few problems. For one, the only shipping option I had was expensive which they said was because of COVID and all which I get. Also I was slightly disappointed by the quality of the side dish as it was slightly scratched when it came. But nonetheless I am still looking forward to the next box I will be getting!”

Only 2 downsides: the Japanese dishware is plastic instead of stone or ceramic, and the jelly snacks in plastic cups sometimes don't survive the summer heat (they all taste amazing, but some had to be discarded because the plastic leeched into them due to the heat.)”
“I really enjoy having my special treats curated monthly by Sakuraco especially during this tough time when we can't travel to Japan. They deliver assorted Japanese sweets and snacks which reflect different theme every month. I love how they focus more on bringing traditional style-snacks such as taiyaki and mochi, which taste great!”
“Each month the package is on time with new items and only rarely are they in bad shape. A few food items have arrived crushed, but that's it. It's a fun thing every once in awhile to try new things and this way you get unique items. I'm planning on visiting Japan in the future and this is a way for me to try a bit more than just candy and adjust my palette. The little booklets that list the snacks are very fun.”
