“I liked the packaging and the way the sweets looked like. I also enjoyed the catalogue. I enjoyed snacks very much, but some of them are so distinctively and uniquely Japanese that my young granddaughters may not actually enjoy them as snack although they would love the way they look…. So pretty.”
“Love the surprises every month. The dishes/chopsticks and other gifts in each box are always good quality. We occasionally don’t enjoy some of the items with fish/shrimp flavoring, but most everything is delicious and packaged so nicely!”
“Nice selection of snacks. however, I prefer it coming from one specific location. I was disappointed that I received the black plate as I would have preferred the pink one. I always look forward to the mochi snacks. The donut was nice with the tea. Some of the senbei was a little too salty for my taste. Interestingly, it arrived prior to an email advising delivery approximate date. The new carrier is ECMS Cypress Inc located in City of Industry, CA. Hope this entices future subscribers as I look forward to each month.”
“The choc mochi was the favorite for February. Also loved the bowl which I used for making matsutake soup and also serves as a great dish for the little items from the box. Little disappointed in the chocolate strawberry. The tangerine flavor yokan was very refreshing. Oh, the yuzu drink was the most impressive. I tried to find out where I could purchase the packets because it would help anyone with throat/cold symptoms.”

“A great way to sample some uniquely Japanese products in your own home. High quality snacks. A mix of sweet and savoury. Not all vegetarian friendly. Some include fish or meat product. If you don't eat these, be sure to have someone who will appreciate them for their superior quality. I have purchased 11 boxes and find they can be a little repetitive at times. A little expensive. Subscription is billed using USD rather than the yen. Shipping varies from a fast 1 week delivery to a worrying 3 week delivery. Most boxes arrive within 2 weeks. Boxes are NOT trackable once they leave Japan, to Australia at least. The idea is great and a lot of thought goes into each box and the accompanying booklet. Overall, a lovely cultural and gastronomical experience which my family enjoys once a month.”
“This was my first box so far I like it. I didn't like the Ajigonomi I thought it was going to be sardine flavor not actual dried sardines in it I wish there was instructions on how to prepare the tea I had to Google it . For some reason I had it in my mind you get chopsticks in every order so I was disappointed when I got the sauke cup and no chop sticks I don't drink alcohol but it was a very good box”

“A lot of the sweeter snacks tasted really good. My personal favorite was the strawberry flavored thing, it was SOO good. I personally didn't like the savory ones. I haven't try their tea yet but it looks good. The design on the furoshiki wrapping cloth was STUNNING! It truly is a piece of art. Overall, it was good.”
