Our box was a sumptuous exploration of autumnal themes. We enjoyed it in the surroundings of the local Japanese garden. Each step of the experience seemed to elevate our mood and satisfaction, with an intoxicating variety of flavours and textures. There was even a complimentary ceramic bowl. Some of the items were broken, but many of them were naturally brittle and difficult to protect in transit. We managed to remember to bring hot water for the tea (supplied in teabags), which was a crucial element to the experience. The amount of plastic packaging was excessive but the presentation was very impressive - both typical of the Japanese way. In summary, a wonderful experience to share with someone you appreciate.
