SAMi is the best invention ever for parents who have a child/ren with epilepsy, especially nocturnal seizures. The peace of mind it gives is priceless. My son had his first seizure transitioning out of sleep at 5 years old. It was traumitizing and we developed a routine of co-sleeping for a couple of years until his neurologist recommended SAMi to us. We bought it and it simply has been a God send for our family. My son is now 10 and is able to be an independent sleeper again and we all get a good night's rest knowing he will never have a seizure without us hearing him and coming to comfort or rescue. In addition to it being a great device, the customer service is great! I had a technical issue and it was handled very promptly, even after hours which was impressive. I receiced a replacement in less than 1 week so I can tell this company really cares about families and not just out to make a profit. And the app has upgraded settings like recording scheduling and background noise cancellation so I dont have to listen to my son's lullabys all night long anymore! To anyone who is thinking about getting this, it is worth every penny! Its not a cure for epilepsy, but at least it offers a sense of security in knowing that if my son needed me in the middle of the night, I can rescue him because of this Camera. And for that, our family is grateful.
