SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. “This camera hands down is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy at 14 months old. My world was turned upside down and I was so afraid to not be in the same room when she napped because that's when her seizures we're happening. Then we found the SAMi. It is truly worth every penny! This camera alerts us when there is possible seizure activity or when there is a lot of motion. In fact one night around 11pm the camera alerted us that my daughter was having a seizure and we were able to help her and also later show the neurologist the recording. Unfortunately she has several different types of seizures but everytime she has a seizure she is looking to the right so we know the seizure is starting from the left side of her brain. The picture quality is phenomenal you are able to zoom in and out and all the settings are easy to adjust to what you feel is necessary as far volume, and sensitivity. This camera has given us greater piece of mind when my daughter is sleeping in the crib. We have also traveled with this camera on overnight trips. It is straight forward and simple to set up. And I seriously can't imagine what I would do without this camera! I HIGHLY recommend this camera!!!!!”

“Our SAMi camera has been a dream come true! I feel much better knowing I don’t have to stare at an old camera monitor to see if she is moving because she is just getting comfortable or having a seizure. It was so easy to set up and it’s amazing to have it record when there is movement just in case so we can show her neurologist!”

“The camera was the first thing to give me peace of mind after my son had his first seizure. I am still anxious, but knowing if he experiences one I will be made aware makes it a little easier. So beyond thankful for such a device.”

“We have yet to receive the device and while I have tried to contact the company twice. I have received not response. So, so far it’s poor customer service and I’m stressed that we have spent a large sum of money on something that may be lost in the mail.”

“Sami captured my son’s entire nocturnal clonic tonic seizure. Although his Dr told us not to waste money on a monitor, a friend found Sami online and it purchase it anyway. I am so happy I did. His Dr found the video very helpful. I was able to easily download the video and upload it to my son’s medical chart. I’m finding out Neurologists see so many types of seizures, they don’t take verbal descriptions as serious as what they saw on the video. We’ve been explaining our experience but until he was able to see the video, he gave it no credibility.”

Hi Aaron, Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We experienced the same situation when our son began having nocturnal seizures. We were told it was just sleepwalking when we tried to explain it and mimic what was happening (we must have looked crazy). It wasn't until we captured it on video that we were finally able to get our Neurologist to believe us and work towards a treatment plan for our son, James. “Peace of mind! After sleeping for 2 years with my daughter in my bed, I am finally getting good nights sleep thanks to SAMi. The camera alerts me if she has a seizure or she moves for more than a few seconds (you set up the threshold). Customer service is also amazing. They sent me a replacement camera when I had some issues.”

“Amazing product amd has provided a lot of stress relief for my wife and me. Only cons are the app has to be in the foreground in order to alarm and sometimes the alarm does not trigger even though the movements are over the time threshold. Overall amazing product and would buy over and over again.”

“Sami has been a life saver. My 14 year old ASD son has now had a couple of seizures. While we are waiting on an MRI and a Neurologist appointment ( which takes months ) sleeping was almost non existent. I was constantly getting up to check on him. With the reassurance of the Sami camera we are now able to relax and get a good nights sleep. I highly recommend this camera.”

“SAMi is that piece of mind that our family needed. Not only does it allow us to monitor/record our daughters episodes, but it allows us to check her sleep patterns and also gives us (parents) a "better" night sleep. “I purchased the Sami-3 camera 8 months ago to monitor my epileptic son while sleeping. It occasionally had wifi connectivity issues that had gotten worse over time. I contacted customer service and they had me try a few fixes that were unsuccessful. They sent me a replacement camera and it works flawlessly!! Great product and awesome customer service. Highly recommended!”
